[ Santa Rosa's Family Tree ] is ?Cadu Ten?rio?s? member of [ Sobre a M?quina's?]?experimental solo project with intentions of crossing over influences of late 80?s electronic music tangled with post-industrial tendencies and some extremely dark ambience.
Using synthesizers, pedals, mics and a laptop, the project is full of sound-collages and field recordings between the noise, melodies and frenetic rythms. It?s a diferent exploration on sounds in comparison to Sobre a M?quina?s work, but continuing on the dark approach. Like a deconstructed kind of ?dance music? this is the first release of TOC label.
About The Label
[ TOC Label ] is a brazilian indie label, focused on experimental music. In other words, Music ? and occasionally anti-music ? without any sort of defined or straight form. To make things easier for those who likes to organize their shelves, we introduce artists that walk among Noise, Drone, Dark Ambient, Industrial, Minimals and more. TOC generally gives some attention to artists that uses electronic elements or at least that are closer to it somehow musically speaking.
All records are available for free download and most of them in a variety of audio file formats, such as FLAC, ALAC and OGG, not to forget the beloved MP3 in 320kbps. The physical records on the label are available on cassete tapes or in CD-R?s ? Always with an awesome artwork handmade by us in limited copies. Nothing quite like or similar to [ Sombre A Maquina ] but intensity of this mix really make me wonder. In terms of length it?s a really short release I mean we talking just above 15mins but DO CHECK IT OUT ?LOUD?.
